Sooooo, how should I explain this?

Hoi, welcome, I bring you a Halloweeny ghostly AU where the main trio haunts a mansion. Might as well put some quick fun facts here, since I'm transferring over here from Twitter.

I'll probably post my lil mod concepts too if I can, but until then, spooky day stuff!

Boyfriend.XML

• Boyfriend goes by the alias of "Ghost.XML," although he's usually just called XML for short.
• He's usually the ghost that remains invisible while moving objects around, but when he's not, he usually likes to attempt to strike a conversation or sing for his guests.
• He will absolutely talk your ear off if you befriend him, as he tends to be more friendly, goofy and lighthearted.
• Boyfriend is a murder victim, and it shows due to the scars and stab wounds on his body. He'll usually hide his scars by draping a sheet over him, or wrapping it around his body. In a sense, on some nights he's your stereotypical sheet ghost.
• He woke up thinking he was still alive, so unlike everyone else, he's more "human" in the sense of being unable to phase through walls and floors as well as other ghosts.

Pico

• Pico was dubbed the "Schoolground Ghoul" by the people that often walked by the abandoned schoolgrounds.
• Pico relies more on visual pranks, not only being able to completely disappear, but also make only parts of him disappear. He is also able to take pieces of himself apart, resulting in the most elaborate pranks, like his hand crawling around or his head under a platter.
• He refuses to say how he died, though many people try and guess due to the amount of scars and wounds he has on him.
• He often likes to pull pranks for his own amusement, but will stop if a prank backfires. Even so, he tries to hide that soft side to him.

Girlfriend

• Girlfriend's referred to as a "cacodaemon" with the alias "Daughter of Dearest," who acts the complete opposite of how cacodaemons usually act.
• Girlfriend isn't considered "dead," as she still can remain in an incorporeal form.
• She's often the softest of the bunch, asking more questions instead of giving terrible advice or pulling small pranks like her parents advise her to do.
• She's usually the shy ghost that tends to hide in portraits or paintings, sometimes TV screens and mirrors, but preferably paintings.
• Girlfriend doesn't see any point in pranking, or even being spooky in the goofy sense like Boyfriend, though she's only scary when push comes to shove.
• She's not at the mansion often and ends up working more with her family, so seeing her is sometimes very rare.
